Special Mentions from Site Leads

In the last quarter’s Support Worker Team Meeting, our site leads took time to recognise team members who continue to make a real impact in their roles. These acknowledgements highlight the care, reliability and initiative shown across teams, reinforcing the strong culture of support and service we are building together.

Charlotte - Brisbane Community

Charlotte began by acknowledging Derek, a steady and reliable presence within the community team.

“He keeps everything running smoothly and shows up for clients every day.”

She also warmly welcomed back Reece, who recently returned from leave and is resuming his role with the southern team.

“It’s great to have him back on board. His leadership and calm presence are always appreciated.”

Charlotte also provided an update on team structure. Lareina has stepped into the role of Team Leader, while Kristy is now supporting as the Senior Support Worker. 

Together, they are coordinating client services for Brisbane North Community.

Jamie-Lee - Metro South (Greenslopes House)

Jamie-Lee extended a warm welcome to the newest support workers joining the team. She expressed how refreshing it has been to see new faces bringing energy and commitment to the role.

She also gave special recognition to two standout team members:

Jack Davies

“Quietly outstanding. Calm, respectful and always consistent.”

Jack’s steady approach and professionalism have made a strong impression on both clients and colleagues.

Vahid

“Compassionate and always eager to learn more.”

Vahid has shown a strong commitment to learning about the NDIS and mental health care, while maintaining a deeply empathetic approach to his support work.

Toni - Clayfield House

Toni shared her pride in the newest team members at Clayfield, highlighting how quickly they’ve adapted and begun contributing meaningfully.

“It’s been a long time since we’ve seen new team members settle in this well. It’s really refreshing.”

She also announced the completion of updated client profiles - helping support workers better prepare for their shifts and provide consistent, high-quality care.
